AirDye® Technology
AirDye is a revolutionary new way to dye and print fabric without using water. AirDye Solutions is your partner in achieving these objectives. AirDye technology features a one-step process that bypasses the liquid state of dye altogether. Proprietary dyes are transferred from paper onto fabric using heat — without consuming water or emitting pollutants. In fact, the entire process is waste-free: the paper is recycled, and used dyes and toners are also recycled to make tar and asphalt.
Using AirDye saves up to 95% of the water, 86% of the energy and 84% of the green house gases as compared to conventional print and dye methods. On a single garment, the water savings alone can be as much as 45 gallons.
Available in a kaleidoscopic range of customizable colors and patterns, AirDye proprietary dyes offer brand new options in printing and dyeing. From athletic performance stretch to the sheerest, most delicate chiffon, AirDye creates the ability to contrast (or match) two sides of the same fabric, creating limitless possibilities.
